Yet again, Mother Nature has graciously granted us the gift of springtime. With the thawing of the earth, are you struggling to keep your house and floors clean after Fido’s playtime? Don’t worry! We’ve got you, and Fido, covered.

A popular new item we like to recommend is the Mudbuster Paw Cleaner. This is a silicone cup filled with fibers that take the mud, dirt, and debris right off of their paws. Simply fill the cup with warm, soapy, water and dip their paws right in! These cups come in small, medium, and large sizes, so there will surely be a great fit for your dog.

Something a bit simpler is the Soggy Doggy doormat. These mats are made with millions of textured, ultrafine strands woven together, which makes for a super thick, super absorbent, material! The mat works by soaking up both dirt and water like a sponge, making it more effective than regular doormats and towels. The product can hold up to seven times its weight in water, so who wouldn’t want this for when a dirty pet comes inside?

If you’d rather try to prevent your dog’s feet from getting muddy at all, you can try dog booties. These come in many different materials, such as rubber and balloon-like, to cotton. These are extremely good at protecting your pet’s feet from hot pavement or ice and cold, but can work just as well if it’s gross outside. Some dogs hate these products and will refuse to walk in them, but most dogs can get used to them with a little time and practice!

As always, don’t hesitate to reach out to your local pet store if you have questions on this or any pet related topic.
